The role of pharmacist is not only dispensing of medicines, but also sharing information of medicines with the patients and other healthcare professionals. The pharmacist is involved in the activities of researches, clinical trials, manufacturing, quality control, quality assurance, besides as a regulator and teacher. But there are a lot of challenges before the pharmacist to achieve the goal. This expo and seminars are held to give exposures to the aspiring and perspiring pharmacists in the country.”

Dr. Rijwani, who is also the president of MP-IPA, pointed out that preference has been given to the Indian manufacturers to exhibit their technologies in the expo as the organisers are taking a cue from the prime minister of India for promoting domestic products.
